Fees

Creating photographs like those you see here have many variables that affect the fees charged. Most of my projects are billed by time, either by day rate or hourly, and line items including digital capture, Photoshop, CD’s and prints.

The average cost per photograph for 2008 has been between $150-$260
with the median of $220.

The many variables that affect the shooting time:
Have a clear art direction and point of view
Complexity of creating and massaging the composition
Finalizing the styling elements
Working with views, time of day, reflective surfaces
Working with lighting challenges
Use of the photography

A Day’s Shooting

With the state of the art digital capture, I am shooting more photographs in a day than ever before. Most often a good day of shooting will produce over sixteen photos. Have a look at these thumbnails to see what a fine day of shooting produces.

Corbu Interiors created this hip Reno Ranch; our photos could be used for two bathroom stories and one remodel story. We did a family portrait too. 19 Photos

EJ Interiors gave this Queen Anne home in Belvedere a total and fresh make over. In eight hours of shooting extra time was needed to capture the views. EJ also got an eight page story and one new client. 12 Photos

Ken Fulk had me shoot his neo-loft home in San Francisco. With many bright skylights and Ken’s great styling made for a very productive day. 28 Photos
